Andreas Odbjerg: Gear

Andreas asked me to write a track for his debut album “Hjem Fra Fabrikken”. He had a clear Burt Bacharach reference and thought it could work well as an album opener. It features La Classe Moyenne and I brought in my favourite artist Aku on background vocals.

Kiss Me, Never

Kiss Me, Never by Anna Eline Friis-Rasmussen premieres at the 2022 CPH:DOX festival.
The film takes place in Beirut. When considering instruments for the score I searched for sounds that weren’t linked to any specific culture or musical tradition. I ended up using two plastic tubes, a length of rope, a Glockenspiel and a microphone.

I’m a composer and recording artist based in Copenhagen. My work spans a broad range of genres, from operatic chamber music to folk and hip-hop, shaped by the needs of each project. Notable releases include Living With Owusu & Hannibal (Ubiquity), Goodnight (Brownswood Recordings), and Svært At Være Fantastisk(Universal).

I hold a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement from the conservatory, with a focus on cinematic scoring. I’m a multi-instrumentalist and singer, and I write both vocal and instrumental arrangements. In my documentary film work, I often combine orchestral and choral elements with sound design and contemporary production.
